Arwen

Elven princess of Rivendell. Arwen was the daughter of Elrond Half-Elven and Queen Celebrian. Born in the year 241 of the Third Age of the sun, she was considered the greatest beauty of her time. She was known as the Elven star by Elves, and often called Undomiel, or even "evening-maid" by men. For nearly a thousand years she lived in Rivendell and Lothlorien. In 2951, she met and fell in love with Aragorn, the heir to the Dunedain kingdoms. In 2980 they became betrothed, but Elrond forebode this  marriage until Aragorn became king. Aragorn's deeds in the war of the ring met these conditions and Arwen became Aragorn's queen. This was a brave choice made by Arwen as she chose to share that ultimate fate of all mortals (eventual death). She bore Aragorn seven daughters and one son and they reigned happily till 120 of the Fourth Age of which Aragorn died. Arwen went back to Lothlorien where she chose to die on Cerin-Amroth, where she and Aragorn chose to be married.
